Last updated: 1st May 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Sweet Spot platform, operated by Sweet Spot Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services.
These Terms apply to all users, whether accessing Sweet Spot as a paying customer or on a trial basis.
2. Credit System
Sweet Spot operates on a credit-based access model:
- Search Credits: Used to perform consumer and audience search queries.
- Report Credits: Used to generate downloadable and shareable insight reports.
- Usage: Credits are added to your account upon purchase or subscription activation.
- Expiry: Credits do not expire while your subscription remains active. If your subscription is cancelled or lapsed for more than 30 days, any unused credits will be forfeited.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans as well as one-time credit purchases.
- Recurring Payments: By subscribing, you authorise Sweet Spot Consulting Ltd to charge your debit or credit card for the applicable subscription fee on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through a third-party provider (e.g. Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
- Failed Payments: If a payment fails or is declined, we may suspend your access until payment is successfully received.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not provide a refund for any unused time or credits.
- Upgrades and Downgrades: Subscription changes will take effect from the next billing cycle.
- No Refunds: All payments and one-time purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
4. Use of the Platform
You agree not to:
- Share your account with others or allow unauthorised access.
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the content or data provided without written consent.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise misuse the platform or its outputs.
We reserve the right to terminate your access if we suspect misuse or breach of these terms.
5. Data Usage and Privacy
Sweet Spot Consulting Ltd is committed to safeguarding your privacy:
- We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Your search and report data is encrypted and stored securely.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, algorithms, and technology provided through Sweet Spot are the intellectual property of Sweet Spot Consulting Ltd or its licensors. You may not use any part of our services for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sweet Spot Consulting Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
- Loss of profits, business, or anticipated savings;
- Any data loss or corruption arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees paid by you during that period.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable your account if we believe you are in breach of these Terms of Service.
Upon termination, your access to the platform will end, and any remaining credits will be forfeited.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after such changes indicates your acceptance.
